LX SecurShield™

This is a proprietary protocol developed in-house at LX Aer Corporation for encrypting learning management system data, without storing decryption keys on our systems, preventing anyone, even those with access to our servers and databases, from being able to access it.

Using AES-256 CBC encryption, in addition to proprietary techniques for establishing and maintaining shared secrets, LX SecurShield™ provides users with incredible privacy and security. Not even LX Aer can read data protected with LX SecurShield™.

The following data is currently available for LX SecurShield™ protection:

• • LMS Course Names
• • LMS Course Descriptions
• • LMS Course Content
• • LMS Course Assignment Names
• • LMS Course Assignment Descriptions and Instructions
• • LMS Course Assignment Files/Submissions
• • LMS Course Assignment Feedback

The following data is NOT protected with LX SecurShield™:

• • Account Metadata (such as name, email, etc.)
• • Certain LMS Metadata (such as the class join code, classwork creation and due dates, and class members)
• • LX SecurAttend Metadata/Attendance Logs
